Yash’s latest travels took him to India on another crazy adventure, 14 of them took part in India travelling in 5 Rickshaws from north desert’s of Rajasthan (Jaisalmer City of “Love”) to south of India Kerela Kochi

01 Jan 2018 to 15 Jan 2018

If you remember in 2009 Team Bharat Express took part in the Mongol Rally in a 1000 CC VW Polo’s drove from London to Ulaan Baatar taking the silk route through Europe, Turkey, All Stan’s and Russia.

This time while the UK is negotiating it’s exit from Europe, Yash negotiated the crazy traffic of India (people, cars, rickshaws, lorries, cycles, cows, monkeys….list is endless) on highways, dirt roads and city centre’s of India.

Why, you may ask!! Well there are 2 reasons. Firstly, it was an adventure of lifetime (fully funded by the participants) secondly to raise as much money as possible for Cool Earth Charity.

Cool Earth is an environmental charity that works in partnership with indigenous communities.

The charity only protects rainforest that without intervention will be destroyed within the next 18 months.

Cool Earth works strategically, protecting forest that acts as a barrier to a wider landscape.

The charity spends just 10% of your donation on admin and governance making sure as much as possible goes to project areas.

Through working with local people Cool Earth makes sure conservation goes hand in hand with better livelihoods.

We are collecting money for Cool Earth. In the last 40 years, over half of the world’s rainforest has been destroyed. This is devastating, not only for the world, but for our future generations. Cool Earth works with local communities to ensure that the solutions are there to stay. and not just a temporary patch-up job.

We would appreciate any further donations and thank you to those who have donated so far, no matter how small or large because when added together it can make a difference.
